Early stage startups with 10 or fewer collaborators in their GitHub org qualify for our startup plan, which provides all the same features as the Standard plan for free. "Collaborators" is inclusive of all roles listed here, including org members and external repo collaborators. If your org is eligible, enroll by heading to team billing settings and starting the upgrade process. A discount for 10 free seats will be automatically applied, and you won’t be charged.

Graphite is committed to supporting open source developers! If you are working on an open source community project, you may qualify for the free Standard plan even if there are more than 10 members in our GitHub org. My org is eligible, but I don't see an option to enroll in the startup program. What should I do?

Only GitHub organization owners can enroll the org in the startup program. Contact your GitHub org owner to have them sign up for a Graphite account and enroll from team billing settings.

If a GitHub organization owner is already a member of your Graphite team and you do not see the discount, this means that there are over 10 collaborators in your GitHub organization and your team does not qualify for the free startup plan.

I qualify for Graphite for Startups. When will I have to start paying?

Qualifying startups will continue to stay free for as long as the team is eligible (i.e., the GitHub organization has 10 or fewer collaborators).

My project is open source and doesn’t have significant funding. Can I use Graphite for free?
